This studio is on the bottom floor / garden level of a century old building.  However, as you can see from the photos, it does not look a century old!

It also has direct sunshine through a south-facing window every day of the year. 

The clean bright quarry tile flooring and white walls complement the crisp modern decor.

We humorously refer to it as the Hobbit Haven because of ceiling height-- seven feet overall, and six foot, one inch where a beam crosses the space. 

Comfortable furnishings help you relax at the end of a long day.  Climate control for heating and air conditioning is controlled by you. 

Located two miles from downtown Minneapolis and one mile from University of Minnesota. Four bus lines.

This space has everything you need for a productive or enjoyable visit. Large Screen HDTV. Broadband Wifi.   In other words, you're connected!  

Fully furnished kitchen with gas stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffeemaker, etc.

One queen size sleep number bed (adjust to any firmness you like) One full size innerspring convertible futon sofa and available inflatable mattresses accommodate up to six.

Bath has shower, no tub. Great exhaust fans and lighting.

Free shared laundry in building.

Reserved Parking for one car immediately outside the entrance door to the space.  Ample on street parking within a few car lengths every time of day.

Campus Connector (note:pdf download) offers free service between the St. Paul, East Bank and West Bank campuses of the University of Minnesota.   Designed for students, but they don’t check student ID. Does not connect to Downtown Minneapolis.

Take a Free Ride on select Nicollet Mall buses (Nicollet Mall stretches from one end of downtown Minneapolis to the other.) Seeing a lot of things downtown? Park at an end of this route for less money! Goes very close to Convention Center.

So you could get a bike there, ride downtown in just a few minutes, and go from one site to another downtown, the museums and Lakes in Minneapolis, and some parts of St. Paul. With trips of under 30 minutes, there is no per trip charge, so it would just be the daily fee of $6.
