Single Family Home, parking for up to four cars in front of garage, but plenty more on the street at the corner. Bus at the corner. 

 

Nice back yard, deck and firepit. 

 

Two King sleep number bed bedrooms. Upstairs loft bedroom has three singles, and a couple of inflatables can be added to make it a slumber party.  Also three convertible sofa futons in lower walkout level, which has the second bath.  And finally, three more convertible sofa futons in the living room.   Sleeps seven in the five beds, and another 6 to 12 in the sofa futons. 

 

Because of two baths, this space can accommodate up to 20.  

 

Kitchen has refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, four burner electric stove with oven. All plates, pots, pans, utensils included.  Full laundry available in lower level too.

 

Two baths on main and lower level.  One is full with shower/tub.  Lower level bath is 3/4 with shower.  

 

Charcoal barbecue available.  

 

Dining table in separate dining area and large patio / yard for outside entertaining.

 

Large HDTV with over 30 channels available.

 

Fast Broadband Wifi Internet.

 

Why stay here? A relaxing space in the convenience of a great neighborhood! Uptown and the chain of lakes is a fabulous part of the city, however most of it is many stoplights (and minutes) from the places you need to go.

 

This location is on the west end of Uptown, with easy freeway - bus - bikeway access tojust a few miles away on the freeway from the heart of Uptown AND Downtown Minneapolis, Mall of America, and everything that brought you here.

 

We are 15-30 minutes from all major attractions: Amusement Parks, Casinos and Racetracks, Museums, Mall of America, and of course the Airport.

Very close to downtown Minneapolis and Convenient to the University of Minnesota. It is possible to attend a conference or trade show at the Convention Center more easily here than staying at some downtown hotels.

 

We are close to all the cultural and recreational activities Minneapolis offers.

 

Location is across the street from bus line (#14) to Downtown.  Also near Express Bus to Downtown (#758)

You can also take the bus downtown and transfer to light rail to the Airport and Mall of America. 

 

RESTAURANT NOTE: Many nearby restaurants use an independent DELIVERY service, you have your own room service!

Convenient to four Metro Hospitals-- Methodist, North Memorial, Abbott Northwestern, Fairview Southdale.

 

Scott and Jenna live in a nearby building, and are always available by smart phone.  

 

We can rent to those with pets, by arrangement.

Free Buses in Minneapolis and St. Paul

Campus Connector (note:pdf download) offers free service between the St. Paul, East Bank and West Bank campuses of the University of Minnesota.   Designed for students, but they don’t check student ID. Does not connect to Downtown Minneapolis.

Take a Free Ride on select Nicollet Mall buses (Nicollet Mall stretches from one end of downtown Minneapolis to the other.) Seeing a lot of things downtown? Park at an end of this route for less money! Goes very close to Convention Center.

There is a per trip charge for a trip of over 30 minutes! However you could hop skip and jump all over downtown with these bikes, for the daily or monthly fee.   Closest ride station is a short bus ride to the East from our Southwest spaces! So youcould get a bike there, ride downtown within 30 minutes, and go from one site to another downtown, the museums and Lakes in Minneapolis, and some parts of St. Paul. With trips of under 30 minutes, there is no per trip charge, so it would just be the daily fee of $6.
