Kitchen with walk in freezer and refrigerator.  Multiple coffee pots, microwaves, full complement of pots, pans and utensils, and sets of plates.  Plenty of counter space.  Easy access through solarium for caterers to get in and out from the driveway. 

Very large, multiple deck spaces.  Tables off the solarium can seat a dozen.  Additional large deck with built in seating between the solarium and pool areas.  Large deck for 12+ tables off the meeting room.  Gazebo near the pool.

Pool area has artificial turf surrounding! 

Childrens playground also has artificial turf!

This is not lakeshore, but is very close to Shorewood "Crescent" public beach, usually staffed with lifeguards from Noon to 5PM from June 6 to August 9.   There are many other beaches at Lake Minnetonka, it has ~150 miles of shoreline! 

There are also many marinas on the Lake.  The closest is about a mile away, and rents 25 and 30 foot pontoons (14 to 20 passengers) for group fun from 8AM to 8PM, varying durations.  One marina will pick up your group in a bus!  Also fishing boats.  Other rental marinas have ski boats, personal watercraft, etc.  There are restaurants with docks on the lake, but we recommend driving to them and using your boating time to explore the two dozen bays and channels of the lake.  We boat the lake, and can give you suggestions for destinations.   Of course if you bring your own boat, there are plenty of places to launch for the day. 

There are also Department of Natural Resources public fishing piers on the lake, so it is not necessary to boat to catch your limit! 

Biking / Hiking?  Minnesota is extremely bike friendly.  One of the longest trails in the county is two blocks away!  On an abandoned rail right of way, it is a maintaned gravel trail.  A couple of miles away is another similar trail, which is paved.  You can literally bike to the next county on it, or into the city!
